Headteacher's Welcome

Mrs Stanley, our Headteacher.

On behalf of the Governors, staff and the wider members of the St Augustine’s community I welcome you to our happy, friendly and successful school.

We thank you for the confidence that you are placing in us by asking for admission to our school. We look forward to a successful relationship during your child's time with us.

Inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus and believing that every child is made in the image and likeness of God, St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is a family; where everyone is welcomed; where everyone is loved, respected and cared for; where everyone is helped and encouraged to achieve their very best. At St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School Christ is at the centre of all that we do.

We believe in an active working partnership between home, school and parish and we will provide you with regular information, both formally and informally, about all aspects of school life and your child’s progress at St Augustine’s.

Our aim is to provide the very best that we can for your child and we ask you to support our parish priest, governors and staff in this special task.

We are very proud of the success of our children and want each one of them to excel within our very caring community.

We welcome children of all faiths and believe that we can learn a great deal from each other about justice, tolerance and respect. Working together, we can attain the best for your child.
