Welcome to St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School and to our website, which aims to give you a taste of our school. We hope you will find the information useful.
St. Augustine’s is a busy, friendly school where pupils have many opportunities to achieve their best in a happy, safe and positive environment.
We value parents’ involvement in the life of the school. Only with their support can we work in the best interests of all the children. Throughout the year, there will be many activities and events to which parents, friends and other family members will be invited, including assemblies, concerts, open evenings, PTA events and sports’ days, an active community facility and clubs for pupils and parents to enhance life long learning for all.
We want all children to feel happy and secure and to be respected and valued in their own right. With the support of the whole community, we will work to enable children to reach their full potential – developing in faith, confidence, skills and achievements. We work in close partnership with the Parish of St. Augustine. Children attend Mass regularly and we have a full programme of sacramental preparation which involves school staff and our Parish Priest.
Visits to our warm and friendly school are welcomed. Please contact the school office to make an appointment. We also welcome your comments about our school or our website, which you are welcome to leave in our Guestbook.
St. Augustine’s is a happy, caring and successful school. With Christ as our cornerstone, we look forward to working with parents and children during the vital years of the children’s primary education.
