PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

All parents of children at the school and teachers are members of the Association as a right.

The main aims of the Association are to:

• Encourage an interest in and an understanding of the school by inviting parents to school assemblies, Masses and ceremonies, concerts, sports’ days and other events.
• Encourage co-operation between staff and parents by holding social events, fetes and other activities.
• Raise money to supplement the grants received from the government and local authority.

The Association holds an Annual General Meeting in the Autumn Term to which all parents and members of staff are invited. The elected PTA Committee serves for a period of one year.

Committee meetings are held termly or more often if required.
