Parents and School
The partnership between home and school is the foundation upon which we build the future of children. Without this strong commitment, our school could not be the success that it is.
Parents’ Evenings
Parents’ Evenings are held in the Autumn and Spring terms.
Parents are also invited to make an appointment to discuss their child’s report at the end of the Summer term.
Projects and Workshops
We organise a wide variety of special projects throughout the year. Notice is given in the weekly newsletters and by additional letters circulated when projects become available.
These projects include: curriculum workshops, Reading Together, Stay and Play, Inspire Workshops, artist in residence, sports’ opportunities, outdoor activities, Forest School activities plus a range of special extras. These have included Cooking With Your Kids, Think Safety, Design a Healthy Smoothie and a range of community-based competitions.
Visits and Visitors
All classes are encouraged to make the best use of visits outside school in order to enhance the excitement of learning. We also often welcome visitors into school for the same purpose. In Year 5 and Year 6, pupils have the opportunity to take part in residential visits.
